Oh BC  he is a very nervous cat, if I threw anything near him he would be off like the clappers

He's really strange cos he sleeps near me every night, he loves his bedtime huggles, but when Im downstairs he will be unsure and run away from me

He's a total scardey cat, even scared of the rabbits but he seems to be getting used to my kids now. Its brilliant how he has adapted being an oldie coming from a home with no cats or kids. He now lives with 2 kids and 6 cats quite happily  :)

I think if he did manage to get out he would just be sitting under a bush scared stiff  :shify:

Being the human in the relationship is a bit like being a parent - you know what is best and sometimes you just have to say no. If you let him out now, then cat-proof you are only delaying having to deal with his response. He is just feeling Spring in his bones and becoming a bit more adventurous - find something to distract him like throwing a light plastic ball down near his feet when he gets the urge to stare at the wider world. Cats are amazingly adaptable people given half a chance ...

Oliver MMP, my old man, wants to go out and Im unsure what to do? He's been with me since the 28th December and is getting on well in the house. I have just caught him on top of the big rabbit hutch looking over the wall, through the wire cos I have DIY cat proofing.

I will soon be getting propper cat proofing and they wont be able to get out anyways but.....Oliver was  living as a stray, so he was used to doing what he wants, when he wants.

I know it would be stupid letting him out then cat proofing the garden, he cant get out anyways cos he's too big to jump high (well not that big cos he has just jumped onto the rabbit hutch)

I just dont know what to do and think guilt is starting to play its hand in this  :sneaky:

What should I do?
