Milo is Mr Grumpy and always has been. Im used to him and his moods and if he is in one of them i let him be. Its been a bit more difficult to tell my flat mates this and one of their friends decided to tease him with his hands and got a bloody finger for it! Hate to say i told you so....
But lately he has been a lot more grumpy and demanding. Not like he is in pain or anything. Just like if i want him out of the kitchen i give him a little tap (not kick) with my foot to move him on and he will fight my foot. He is always demanding food! He has started this game of fetching a rolled up crisp packet, its great fun seeing him bring it back but if i decide to stop the game he will get annoyed and swipe my fingers or anything he can. I think he just gets over stimulted and then cant help himself.
Thing is i could handle htis if he just didnt so readily use his claws. My other cat Pagan i have had since a small kitten. I taught her any use of claws on skin results in stop of play and i would puth her away from my space. Milo came to me as a 1 - 2 year old and had not been taught these boundaries. I try to teach him as i taught Pagan but Milo is a huge cat and very very persistant. How do you tell a cat that you arnt pleased with their behaviour?
I just wonder if he is telling me he wants to go out. He is a young, big boy cat that im sure wants to go out and stretch his hunting muscles. I play with the cats as much as i can but its no substitute.
