My friend's cat did the same when Tiger Diaries was on. It took her two days before she would enter the room again!

Poor Poppy. Ive had Amber run away from the TV when they did a close up of a falcon but she want scared as such.
Then again my parents have had rescued collies for years and my Dad used to watch one man and his dog only his dog would leave the room every time it came on as the whistling obviously had bad memories

Poor Oscar ran a mile when a golden eagle on TV flew towards him.

Bless Poppy.

Narla ran out of the room when Monsters Inc was on & she usually watches TV. So funny. When she thought the coast was clear she slowly venture back, but the blue monster was there so she fled again.

Awwwwwww sounds just like Poppy was tonight so we need a blue monster, grizzly bear and bison free zone for these 2 then  :evillaugh:

I'd Sky+ Yellowstone and me and hubby were watching it when Poppy went flying off the cat post which she was sitting on by the tv.   At first we didn't think anything off it, just thought she had the devil in her when I looked at her and her eyes were massive and she was terrified looking at the tv from just outside the door, she kept going to come back in then running away again and we realised it was when either the grizzly bears or bison were on the screen.    We turned it off and put something else on and she calmed down and sat in front of the tv for half an hour watching it closely.    We then put Yellowstone back on and as soon as bison came on she freaked again!

We think she must have been chased by a dog or something outside as the bison and the grizzly were big brown masses so she obviously has associated that now with a dog we are thinking!

She is now by the tv calm - Traffic Cops is on - obviously relaxed around police!

Poor Poppy.

Anyone else experienced this with their cat and something on the tv?
