Ah but according to BT you'd be okay with the cats not setting the alarms off :)

We have a Tiger, Panther, Lynx, Cougar and Puma

Only one near the 80lb weight at 60lb is Sky the BC!

We turned off our alarms as the cats kept chasing the red dot on the fittings and they fell off their brackets!

Hi folks,

I stumbled upon this text of BT's website in connection with their home security equipment:

"Pets
Pets up to 36kg (80lb) won't trigger an alert for movement below 1m (3'). Above this height only movement of smaller pets up to 18kg (40lb) is ignored. Pet tolerance also decreases the closer movement is to the detector."

80lb, 80lb!!!!, If one had a pet weighing 80lb, presumably a small tiger then I would have thought that one wouldn't need a passive infra-red detector system to deter burglars! :)

Cheers

Leigh
