Well.....just as I decided I couldn't part wih him (he has a piece oh my heart now) I got an email.  It turns out that this person owned him 3 years ago but that he disappeared, he seems to really love him and has taken him back home to live.  I am gutted, really missing him now :( I just hope he has a fantastic life.  The guy really seemed to love him and I couldn't stand in the way of him taking him home I just can't get the look on his face out of my mind. He has said he will let me know how he gets on.

Sooooo happy but sad ending really

God I miss that furry critter  :(

Hi Yvonne, thank you for your lovely welcome post :)

We have called this boy McCavity as he is a mystery cat to us :)

My cats are picking on him a bit at the moment and given his nerves I am worried for him, but I know he will find the perfect home one day soon.

Beautiful Big Tabby Boy Seeking Loving Home - Happy/Sad ending - Homed
« Reply #1 on: May 17, 2009, 18:39:43 PM »
I am looking to find a loving home for a lovely male Tabby who has moved in to ours.  Unfortunately I think my cat has moved out because he has moved in but I can't just kick him out and as I have grown quite attached to him I would love to find him a good home.

He gets on well with my other cats and is a big soppy, beautiful boy who loves nothing better than a warm lap and lots of fuss.

When he turned up at ours he was very nervous and not in great shape.  I believe he has been mistreated and this has made him a little nervous.  In the past couple of months he has gone from being a very nervous boy to a warm and loving cat.  The vet estimates his age at 4 years old and that he had been fending for himself for some time.  I have done everything I can to find his owners but I believe that he has been dumped.

His ideal home would be somewhere relatively calm where he would get all the love and fuss he deserves.  The most ideal situation would be for him to go to a home as an only cat for an older person however he is good with people (never lashed out once even when scared) and other cats.

He is a very big boy (the pictures show him on a person sized cushion on the sofa) and very soppy.  He is neutered and very well trained (currently goes outside to the loo but can use a litter tray) and loves nothing more than a loving lap, lots of strokes and being made to feel special.  I am so pleased with how much he has progressed so far but with a loving home of his own I know he can overcome his nerves completely.

If you know anyone who can give this gorgeous boy a loving home please let me know by personal message, replying to this post or phone on 01367 860437
