WellI just gave Willow her first bowl of k/d and she is happily munching away - she wouldn't touch the RC renal. I just thnk she likes Hill's and eats any of them  :)

I will start mixing some into Clapton's wet food as well.

Hi Pav

Just checked. The fat is higher
            G/D       K/D
Fat       17.6       21.1
Phos      0.5       0.45
Protein 30.9       27.2

I didn't know there was so little diffeence in g/d and k/d - g/d is for early renal failure so I ordered some of each to see if she preferred one to the other. I will try k/d forst as I have 2 bags  :evillaugh:

Mark, can you please check the pack of Hills G/d and see if it has less fat than R/C Renal? If it does then i can order some for Phoebe!  :thanks:

I ordered a 2kg bag each of k/d, g/d and Nature's best senior but they sent me 2 bags each of the k/d and Nature's Best - It would cost me more to send them back than it cost them to make so my gain (If Willow and Clapton deign to eat it that is  )

Kylie has found Willow's stash up in the bedroom - hopefully it won't harm her if she eats some renal food?

It was a bit embarrassing as they were delivered to the vet next door - AND they opened the boxes  :evillaugh:

My food from the order arrived today with the "sundries" to follow. Apparently, the food comes direct from Hill's - somebody there can't count  :shify: (I'm not complaining  :evillaugh: )

I will keep an eye out but they are bid items rather than "buy it now" so you can get outbid at the last minute - I don't have the time or patience for all that  :evillaugh:

They are refills - which I will be looking for the next time  :shify:

Thanks JS but I already ordered 5 as per my previous post.

Mark, that seller seems to have them in regularly at that price. ;) No problem, Janey.

My mum was quoted £48 for a Feliway plug-in by her vet  - luckily she asked me if I could get them cheaper  :evillaugh:

Definately robbed - my vet only charges £16.50 for the spray which I have always thought too expensive but £22

I bought the spray from PAH a few weeks ago, they'd only just started selling it apparently and it was £22 something, I'm sure it's cheaper elsewhere though.  Not tried the plugs in (didn't know about them tbh)

You were robbed  :evillaugh:

£11.34 from the place I ordered from  :-:

I looked on eBay but it wasn't any cheaper. There were some links to various online suppliers. One called www.petdrugsonline.co.uk had them for £15.10 (£5 cheaper that vetuk) so I ordered 5. I also ordered 6 kg of food to get free delivery. They also sell the odour eliminator I like for £4.45 (£10 from the vet  ) and I got some ipakitine to try in Clapton's food. I bought 2kg each of Hill's K/D and Hill's G/D (It's new I think for early stage CRF so thought I would try both). Also some Hill's Nature's best for Alice & Kylie.
Ended up spending £140 but would have cost £250 at least from the vet.

Also they take PayPal so I didn't have to mess about entering card details.

I have been googling as we are having problems with Willow still and OH thinks we should try ordering 5 or 6 plug ins (We only have one right now) the cheapest I have found is Nutrecare at £16.99 but they charge £4 postage. I found another site that had them on offer for £15 but it says maximum 2  :tired:
