Dancer , we have the same battle every day - Beavis is such a lightweight an the ginger terrors barge him off. Even shutting them in another room doesnt work as Jerry just opens the oor. We have to stand guard until Beavis has finished!

Franta would not allow Ducha to eat unless he had eaten first. They had either two dishes or a double feeder and Franta used to position himdelf so Ducha couldnt get at any foof. If Ducha got their first he was just pushed out of the way.

Ducha only has 3 legs and is so much thinner than Franta so one day I pushed Franta to one side until Ducha had eaten and since then if there were both of them, then Franta would sit behind Ducha till he had eaten......so strange but he wouldnt eat by Duchas side. Birmans learn so quickly!

Mine have done the same dancer.

I've  had to start feeding Lillie in another room where she know she won't get interupted by other little busy body thieves.

She never seemed to have her fill & got booted out by the others after they had, had their share of the 'running buffet'.

She has been much happier & more content since doing this as always a fretful nervous cat.

Mosi used to be exactly the same.  When he was little I would pick him up and hold him until Jaffa had finished!  Now I just have to watch him and if he sees me looking at him, he keeps a bit of distance from Jaffa, but if I'm in another room he will be in there.  Then Jaffa comes to me with that "muuummmm.... sort it please!" expression on his face.

lol, you would think after her adventures, she would be a little more assertive. Must be she thinks he is a kitten and needs his food ... Esther does that with Smidgen at times too ...

Wrap everyone around his not so little paw! the new daily battle is stopping him from eating Chilli's food. They get the exact same but Dave eats like he hasn't seen food for a week, blink and it's gone. He then immediately goes over and shoves his nose in Chilli's dish and she lets him! She's a very slow eater so can barely have had a few mouthfuls before he comes charging over. thing is, she just doesn't seem to care, just resigns herself to losing her meal and wanders off.

So now I have taken to picking him up and restraining him till she's had her fill :tired: The things I have to do for that little butter :innocent:
