Thanks folks,
I so hope that it encourages people to find out more about FIV and give loving homes to FIV cats, all our FIV cats make such great ambassadors for their FIV brethren. I posted a thank you to their editor Sue Parslow on my website thanking her for providing me this opportunity to spread the word about FIV cats. I was so pleased that they kept the names of the charities in from whom I adopted Alfie and Frankie as they all deserve a hearty thanks and a mention as they've been so supportive. Liz at CAS is tickled pink as she fostered Alfie and has become such a good friend.
As for the boys, Alfie and Frankie were highly
unimpressed ,they each gave the article a sniff and, upon discovering that it was inedible, walked away to find something that WAS edible
I rang and spoke to mum last night and she told me that she choked on a sandwich but was fine now so all's well that ends well as the saying goes. More boxes coming tonight, I hope to complete the last of my packing tomorrow and then up to see mum on Sunday (assuming that I still have the strength to get out of bed after Saturday's labours) and will be taking her a copy of the magazine as a suprise. One week today, all being well, I shall be a "HOMEOWNER"
Cheers
Leigh
