 :evillaugh: I often see paws over the coffee table, but that's just because its the lowest, easiest platform for Lexy to get to. She's never stolen anything (fingers crossed). However, I did have a cat who used to have the most amazing nose. She'd never get on counters, ever. Unless there was fried chicken. Not baked, roasted, or just plain boiled chicken. Fried chicken.

Anything left on a countertop was fair game in our house  :evillaugh:

My lot used to stand in the kitchen floor and send a periscope paw up fishing for interesting things when I was preparing food. This current lot just jump up and see whether it's worth the effort, snagging something when both my hands are occupied lifting them back down again ...

I love these type of cats  ;D

I kep the whiskers topping tub on a box under the table and Misa only gets a little helping a day. He tells me when he wants some by walking across the desk and hanging over the side staring at them and then at me until I get the message  :rofl: :rofl:

 :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: That reminds me of our old Siamese (Rajah) ... when I was a child my mum and dad had an old wooden aspidistra stand that was put outside and used as a bird table.  Rajah knew if he jumped onto the "bird table" he would get shouted at so he  would stand on his back legs on the shelf at the bottom of the table reach up with his front paw and "fish" for any scraps etc that might be on the table.  When he "caught" something he would pull it over the edge and see if it was worth eating!  :rofl: :rofl:

He also tried the same trick on the dining table ... this of course resulted in him dragging the table cloth and a large amount of crockery onto the floor on several occasions.

To say he was cunning would be an major understatement ... he was the smartest, sneakiest, cunning cat I have ever known and was my first best friend  :Luv2:

I think Charlie must have psychic contact with Mr T, and inspired him!   :Crazy:

 He managed to pinch a tub of Felix sprinkle thingies of the table .... He was pretty ingenious too, as the tub was towards the back of the table.  He knows he isnt allowed on tables, so he had climbed onto the chair and very, very patiently hooked at the table cloth until the biscuits came into reach.  Hows that for ingenuity?  He took full advantage of the fact I was running round like a blue-ar*ed fy as we had 3 (!) power cuts today.  Not a lot of fun if you are all electric!  I couldnt even make a restoring cuppa  :rofl:  Now have candles, torches etc on standby and two thermos flasks of boiling water just in case .....

I'm sure he'll be fine, don't worry.

Max somehow got into the fridge yesterday and ate  half a packet of sliced chicken breast which was for my lunch today  :tired:

I swear they are as bad as children, every time your back is turned they're up to something  :Crazy:

That Charlie again, I forgot to put his Dentabits in the cupboard, it was almost a full box and when I got up this morning, guess what, most of them were gone.  Do you think he will be ok?
