An addition to this little brag....
The overall results of the show have now come through and Pearl ended up as Best of the Best Household Pet.
During the course of the two days, she finalled in all 12 rings, getting three Best HHP, five 2nds, two 3rds and two 4ths. She performed like a dream.
And all this after pooping in her carrier on the way to the show on Saturday morning, stepping in it, sitting in it and then enduring the ignominy of a public clean-up.
Ah, they do say, where there's muck there's money - or in this case, rosettes.
She's such an amazing little cat, she really is. Far cry from the skeletal little feral that I gave a home to.
