Fabulous pictures. You really do have two beautiful cats. I love the footprints in the snow shot.

A lowly EOS 350D compared to yours! I seriously have no idea how to use it properly though, I use the auto mode and close up mode and that's it!
I got a book on digital photography for Xmas, just need to find the time to open it and read it

I tried with flowers but I haven't yet for cat photos, thanks!
Which DSLR do you have? I'm fascinated by them now
I just need to figure out how to make full use of mine!

I bet you won't regret it, I was oohming and aahing about buying my DSLR as I really have better things I could be spending my money on but I looked on ebay and they seemed to hold their value quite well so I thought if I didn't use it much I could always sell it and get most of my money back. Fat chance - I use it everyday as the boys are always looking cute or doing something funny
Have you tried turning the dial round to macro for close ups? I find that just fine for close up Lu/Riley pics.

Haha I love how you do that Helen and you are right it's a 40D. It's the most extravagent purchase i've made in my life but the camera body is going to last me years, although i'm already itching to buy better lenses though for close up kitty pics
I didnt think Nova had grown much but I tried putting his harness on after a two week break and it was too tight, so he's finally growing, the vet told me he weighed 4.67Kg

Beautiful
They really are magnificent
Can't believe the size of Nova's feet though
Are you sure you don't have an escaped 'big cat' in your area?
Is your new camera a Canon EOS 40D by any chance

I have no excuse as I just posted these at my other thread in cat stories but my darlings are so beautiful!
And naughty of course...
This is one of my favourites of Mia
And here's Nova sporting 2009's next big fashion statement
Can everyone gather Nova likes bags of all shapes and sizes?
Nova's footprints are the big ones on the right
