It MAY have gone down a bit today (or that may be wishful thinking on my part)

Fredpuss was feeling well enough to put up one hell of a fight when it came to tablet time tho..................must be Padys healing headbutts I reckon!

He is couched out on the sofa now. :Luv2:

Wants to see if the antibiotics do the trick first - as he is sooooooooooooooo happy in himself and eating well he is hopefull its nothing too serious - he did also mention a blocked salival gland , but there was no saliva when he put a needle in the lump.

Hope its just an infection,  is the vet wanting to do tests or is it just wait and see if antibiotics do the trick?

Well we are back from the vets - he out a needle in the lump but nothing came out except a little blood. He has given him antibiotics in case it is a deep infection and has given him a shot of cortisone.

Fredcat has also lost weight , he was 6.2k when he had has booster at the end of October and now he is 5.8k. :(

He is still eating ok , polished off a pouch when we got home so please can you send lots of healing vibes for Mums little boy.
Thanksxx

Our Squeaky always drooled when he was being stroked but other cats of mine have also drooled when they've had dental problems

Both Noni and Billy dribble when they are very happy i.e loudly purring (or are they just hungry and trying to get me to feed them?)  Both are still youngsters.

Have also heard dribbling can indicate dental probs but think only the vet could advise. I think I would wait for other signs though if a vet visit causes alot of stress esp as vet should have checked teeth at recent booster visit.

Dribbling can indicate dental problems, yes. It might just be old age though, or snoring (nasal congestion, loose soft palate), have seen many a commuter dribbling on their way to work ... :shify:

He is still eating well , but we have noticed today he is dribbling quite a bit.

He was at the vets for a booster less than a month ago , as far as I remember the vet did look at his teeth. Is dribbling a sign of dental problems? We dont want to stress him out with a vet visit unless its nescessary- he loves the vets but has a car phobia and hyperventilates.
