Good news, Louis is making excellent progress in terms of weight gain, coveted 'wet nose', general condition. The vet is pleased with the results of exhaustive examination and two bloodtests. We have still no idea where he has been for six months, but his coat was in good condition, (not matted, tangled, no fleas, or scurf) apart from being emaciated. He has returned to his demanding, cheeky ways but shows no inclination to go outside, despite a large enclosed garden where he previously reigned supreme. He is happy to be carried outside in your arms and observe the world and fresh air, but that is that. Any advice from my experienced expert friends on how long it will take Louis to adjust would be appreciated. We are content to be patient and take it day to day. His toilet habits are, as always meticulous and predictable, and adjustment to litter tray has been admirable. Regards Stuart
