My guys are the same- Premium biccies and cheapo wet (well Felix AGAIL isn't the absolute cheapest!)

I feed the PAH premium which is comparable to JWB in quality. The shiny, kissable fur and bright eyes (Keli's fur is atoundingly shiny- she's a 100% biccie girl by her own choice) comapred to how they were when they arrived in April is astounding

Z has wheat and whiskas allergies, so the PAH brand hits the spot yet again- no wheat whatsoever...no more runny bums and pools of sick (unless he's got a hairball)

I choose the senior and light ranges as my guys are all over 8 and Keli's a little fond of her biccies!

I've looked at the Purina range and noticed that some of thier range has wheat, the ONE range has Oats- hmmmmmm juries very much out on that ingrediant.

good or bad mary real hooverd down sensible 33 so much she had blood in her stools now i started her mixing it with jwb much better so will contiue with status quo

My lot won't touch premium wet so I have to compare premium dry to cheapo wet.

I'm afraid dry wins every time. Both of my cats have become shinier and healthier as a result and frankly if that's the case I'm not too fussed what's in it (within reason obv). If it's sprayed with fat then that is bad but surely if a cat's weight/health is fine it can't be that much of an issue.

Before I switched Smoo to dry he was lank, scruffy and very runny. Now he looks as plush as he should like a big fluffy cloud.

Sensible 33 gave my lot diarrhoea

You cant really compare premium dry to average wet, premium against premium or cheap against cheap.

Dry food is also processed, vitamins added back in and then sprayed with fat to make it edible.

I do mean premium Dry compared to Whiskas, Felix etc with are rubbish leftovers processed and vitamins added at the end. I would be happier feeding Orijen than Felix any day. When I switched Kylie to Science Plan when I got her, her fur started to shine and her eyes glistened.

Spike loves it too. I had started feeding him Orijen as I thought it was a better food for hedgies too. I ran out and tried giving him other stuff but he wasn't interested. He loves the Sensible 33 though

We only have one hedgie now - it is one of the babies from earlier in the year. The other younger and the mum have vanished

I am keeping an eye out for the 3 for 2 offer again

Yes it is. It is one of the better dry foods. I'm still not happy with the carb % but the only low-carb one I know of is Orijen and they won't always eat it.

I don't know any dry foods that aren't complete. I know a lot of people that are against dry food but the ingredients compared to the average wet food are so much better.

Hi,

I have been using the Royal Canin "sensitivity" biscuits. The boys go potty for them, never heard Alfie make so much noise, even Frankie makes a noise. I bought them for Suzie and am using what's left up on the boys.

Our Willow is borderline underweight and the pickiest cat ever but she loves it. I try to get them to eat Orijen but she always has a dish of sensible 33 in the bedroom for snacking on and she certainly does

when we got 2 cats from CP, both with sensitive tums they advised us to feed Purina and if they had other stuff they had runny tums I've used it ever since.

RC Sensible is also a favourite in our house. Or RC Persian which has a rounded kibble so that flat-faced persians can munch away like their pointy faced chums!

JWB turkey or lamb are round edges, duck is triangular.

Royal Canin Sensible 33 is small kibbles. It was 3 bags for the price of 2 a few weeks ago. Not sure if the offer is still on. Willow loves it - it smells really meaty.

ok have been feeding mary pro plan dry sensitive turkey and all going well

but just wanted to try and give a bit of variety rather than just give turkey all the time. she has only two teeth and strugles with any any kibbles that have pointy type edges if that makes sense she does beter with rounded type kibles.

any sugestions ?
