Millys Mum - Jess's looks nothing like that, it seems to be a little lump with a head on, which is sometimes yellow and shiny

Thanks everyone.  :Luv: :Luv:

With the acne Emma didn't say anything about the bowls, but Jess eats off of a china saucer so I don't understand where it has come from.

What a relief!

With the acne did she say anything about his bowls?  I read somewhere that feline acne is often caused by using plastic food bowls.

Desley's the one who told me this and our vet has indeed told me to avoid plastic bowls if poss.

We went to the vets last night, I got there and we had a fairly long wait. We went in and Emma checked him over and said his empty!!!!!! He couldn't have been!!! I couldn't believe it!!!

We checked his box and he had had a wee in it. Fortunately some of the urine had fallen into a groove so we could collect some! Emma checked it and the PH had gone up which was to be expected and there was no blood in it. But Emma wanted to spin it to check for crystals just to be on the safe side. Jess has never had crystals before so she was confident there wasn't any.

So we went home and waited. After 90 minutes I called the vets and they said Emma really needs to speak to you so I was thinking the worst that Jess was back on urinary food. Anyway at 8pm last night Emma called and gave us the all clear, she had just wanted to tell me herself! Bless her. So there is no further action unless we are concerned about anything there is no need to recheck we just need to carry on managing the stress and continue with the cystease and zylkene.

Oh and the spot on his chin is acne we're just going to keep an eye on it.

Anyway we are thrilled that Jess is finally okay, he wasn't too happy with me though!!
