Here's Jameson using his scratching post as a pillow!

Has a 'Rampant 13mm Aden Cannon Shell' been marketed yet?  Is this a new product development opportunity?
"A close relative of the rabbit?"     Oh yes - but it would bring tears to your eyes!!  What HAVE we done to this thread????  Although "This can't be comfortable surely" is highly appropriate!  Now :naughty: - stop it, ladies!!  I cant stop giggling!!

ah, you see I live in Chatham, home of the Royal Engineers, so I see quite a bit of this sort of stuff from time to time - boys toys of the not-so-friendly variety. Strange thing is most of the officers are really nice relaxed sort of blokes ...

Pretty good guess!
Bullet from a helicoptor?
small bomb? this is freaking me out - let us know what sort of dangerous ordinance you stock on your windowsill ... :scared: :scared: :scared:

and PLEASE, reassure us it is defused ... :-:
Its a thing called a 13mm Aden Cannon Shell (Dont worry, its inert) and is used in Hunter Aircraft.  My other half is an aircraft fanatic (ex Royal Observor Corps - what he doesnt know about aeroplanes could be put on the back of a postage stamp).  Now - he sees this object as a thing of beauty and leaves it lying about on the window sill
He once asked my daughter if she knew what it was.  Oh foolish man!  She suggested an Army-issue sausage .....

Our old cat Cheeky used to sleep on a radiator like that, with two legs hanging down the middle and two hanging down the outside - no towel on it either!  She'd wriggle along and when she got to the end would hop off to cool down for 5 minutes then get back on and start again.  She only ever went from left to right, a bit like a typewriter roller  :evillaugh:
