Chloe goes mad after using her tray, too. Its a sort of "Thats a weight of my mind!" thing, I guess. Over the years Ive fostered and owned quite a few kitties and many of them have had the post-poo mad moment. When litter trays were on lino or tiles, we had cat-brake-failure and they skiidded or crashed. Carpet hs helped
Chloe is now an elderly lady (16ish) but still has her mad moments. She is also convinced that mice live under the rug in the living room and hunts them We often have a flat-mouse-hunt (well, theyd have to be flat to live under a rug!) after a litter trip.
I do like the idea of them running from the smell - but then shouldnt husbands/partners do the same sometimes?!
