Sorry Candice

No words I can say  :(

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Thank you all for your kind messages.  Its been a tough day but I know deep down that it was the right time for my beautiful boy.

For those of you who don't know Fabes' story I adopted him with Solly 5 years ago and they were my first cats.  Foofoo joined later and then this weekend my new baby Bam Bam.

Fabes was diagnosed with Hypercalceamia approx 18 months ago and developed kidney failure.  He was well looked after by Uni of Liverpool and my own vets and for some time I have been administring various meds and fluids at home which he coped with remarkably well.  In all his vet bills came to approx £10k which I was luckily insured for.

I will miss my boy sooooo much and at the moment Solly and Foofoo are too - they have been a bit withdrawn all day.  Bam Bam is oblivious to everything luckily and I think his 'madness' will help us all.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Fabes.  Had you had him a long time?  I'm sure he pain free and playing just like a kitten now over at the bridge.  I know how hard it is to loose a pet, as they truly are members of our families.

RIP Fabes

Your mum did really well the last few months Fabes and you had a fantastic quality of life, I know you'll be up there purring now and pain free.  Solly and FooFoo will miss you and so will a lot of people including me, make sure you find Perdy for your mum and Nana Wendy and give him a big head butt.

My beautiful boy has gone.  He hadn't eaten for 2 days and crying through the night. :'(

I took him to the vets this morning and he was impacted again and the vet thought he could feel a lump in his tummy.  His kidney levels have also doubled (test results from last week)

I took the decision that this was his time, he has been so brave over the last 2 years and his quality of life was great but not today. :'(

Bye bye my munchkin me and the fluffs will miss you

xx
