When Claire threw Orby across the room I too was so mad I went out for a run to cool off.As I exited the block where I lived at the time,I ran straight into a couple of RUC Police Officers who advised me not to do something stupid.
She'd packed & was waiting on a taxi when I returned & threatened to come back & get the cat,so the locks were changed the next day.

Now I knew when we started going out that she was divorced with two daughters who lived with her parents.She said her parents had the room as when I met her she was living in a one bedroom bedsit.

Turns out her parents filed for custody & she only got supervised visits.B**ch even ran off owing catalogs money which meant I had debt collectors coming to my door looking for her!

Tell you what tho,it put me off dating for a few years!Thankfully Sue is more level headed & loves Daisy to bits.

This section always makes me cry, but I can't stop reading for all the wonderful tributes and stories. We threw our (thankfully EX) housemate out for throwing our Sushi across the room as a kitten (how can people do this?!) in simillar circumstances.....I don't think I've never known a rage quite like it..

He was my first cat.In Orbit's passing I was able to give Daisy,a rescue cat,a home.So something good came from his passing.Funnily enough,she has a lot of traits Orbit had...

Unaffected by catnip but goes do-lally for bleach or mint..
Wont eat any cat food in gravy..

God bless you Orbit, for making your dad happy. I'm sure he will be sorely missed, but he'll be happily playing up there with all the other bridge babes, including my Willow.

Orbit was a great cat & I've had him since a kitten.My ex-gf got this kitten that we thought was a girl,anyway one night the kitten tried to paw a baked bean off her plate & she lost it! She threw the plate & the cat accross the room,the kitten hit the floor with & collapsed.
So I scooped her up & ran to the vets down the street.When I got home,we had a big bust up &,to cut a long story short,I threw her out that night & I kept the kitten that turned out to be a boy & I called Orbit because of the way he sprung up into the air when startled!
In Nov 08,he began to put on weight & the vet put him on a Duretic,Fortekor,for renal failure.Peopel were telling me to have him pts but he was'nt suffering & until he was,I was'nt going to edny him his life.
Then at the beggining of sept 09,he was going down fast,he could'nt poo & his back legs were wobbly.I took him to the vets who gave him a shot & then took him home.The was no life in him & I knew then it was time.
I carried him to the bed where he lay,I did'nt sleep.Next morning at 0755,he fell off the bed & crawled into the hall,where he had a fit & was gone.
I wrapped him in his blanket & then placed him in a sturdy box,sealed up tight & he is now resting in the back garden under what will be a flower garden in memory.
