well its come around quickly we are moving to the smaller house tomorow.
Cats much to their disgust are all shut in the house, one or two meows but fairly good, no escapes yet! I stuck a sign on the door for my hubby, do not let me
out (yes I drew a cat face)
just incase he forgets LOL
precision timing tomorrow, they all go to my parents, 4 to live in their bathroom whilst we do the move, and 2 to live in their bedroom LOL mums not too happy they will have 8 cats and 4 dogs but still its better than them going straight to the new bungalow and hearing all the moving and banging about, theyve been there before so know the drill.
Only worry is 5 cat carriers and 6 cats, the skinniest ones will go in together, and usually are ok except for a quick bat around thehead to sort who sits where.
Already got the cat flap installed, wondering what they will think going from country to estate, but they have lived on a busy main road before so Im hoping they will get th hang, theres a few feilds if they find their way to the end of the cul de sac.
Trick will be keeping them in , I try the two weeks but realistically its about 2 days before they have to go for a wander, usually 1 disappears for a few days but I think as its more built up he might come home for comfort
Anyway thats enough of my rambling, I suppose I am a little nervous about our descision, but I hope they will find their place. We are in a lovely area here but the cats have less places to go as some Tom cats patrol and chase them back to our garden so who knows it may work out for the better, plus even though the garden is small I get to landscape it all and make it kitty friendly
