So, we have decided this is the 18mo mum cat, it is looking like all the cats have been caught now. She is soo friendly and affectionate, that it shouldnt be hard to rehome her. Poor thing has a lot of fur to grow back, as the vet shaved more to see if she had a scar, due to her 'war wound' on her ear. She is also learning how to play now, which is good.

I can only assume this is the mum cat, which is still quite sad as she is tiny, although I have been sat staring at her this morning and she is a bit big for 6 months, but i wouldn't say big enough for 2 - the cat I have has also had previous litters, so it does fit to her being the mum. My friend thought she had the mum until she saw the other black female (who is being elusive), so her daughter must be bigger, hence her thinking she had them the wrong way round. The boy is bigger than her too, so wonder if the age on him is also wrong.

Maybe a first early litter stunted her growth  :-: in her pics she does look bigger than 6 months and if she has tartar then must be older, wouldnt have had her adult teeth long enough if she was only 6 months. Possible you have the wrong cat tho  :evillaugh:
Hope you solve the puzzle soon!

Well, today has been odd with regards to Phoebe (although pretty much everything has gone wrong this week, so shouldnt be too surprised). When I rang to see how she was doing, I was told that she was pregnant, but they had spayed her anyway, which was the right thing to do, but made me feel a bit odd, first time it has happened to me. When I went to pick her up, the vet said it seemed like she had been pregnant before, so I said she couldnt be with her age, and the vet would have put her at 2-3 with the tartar on her teeth, so either my friend's neighbours lied (as mum is only 18months old), or she has caught another cat, she is convinced the cat she has seen since (the only one of the three not to be caught) is the mum, but that could be the explanation - I need to speak to her in the morning, and my neighbour is going to pop round and let me know what she thinks - she doesn't look big enough to be that old, but we need to decide for putting her up for adoption - 6months - 2years is a bit too big a difference!! I have also told my friend she can't wait too long trying to catch mum, cos there is obviously unneutered toms in the area, and we can't have her on the streets for too long, so she is going to look into a trap. Very puzzling!!

She is quite small really, although part of it is curling up cos of being unsure. She is at the vets to be neutered, and I shall put her on the rehoming page at some point.

My latest foster - her owner left his home leaving all his animals on the street - my friend has been sorting them out, she is hoping to keep Phoebe's brother, and is still trying to catch her mum, I just hope she comes round before she gets pregnant again. Phoebe is around 6 months, is booked into be neutered tomorrow, and can growl while doing practically everything, including eating. She is a softy though, but seems to have been harrased by dogs, kids and cats in her previous home, then dumped, picked up by my friend and lived in her spare room for a few days, so no wonder really. She is quite thin, but has very shiny fur.
