I must be mental - just completed a 2 1/2 hour round trip, got completely soaked in a downpour and then a van drove through a puddle as we were waiting at a busstop so am muddy too.  >:(

And no, Xanthe would not have starved had I not gone, but I now have enough food of all varieties to last until we leave for SA

I may tell the local shop to stick their order if it does arrive.  :innocent:

PAH have the maine coon food in stock, it is an hour+ journey each way by public transport but guess what I will be doing this afternoon...  :tired:

If I end up with 2 bags I will put one in the boxes for SA.

I'd nip to pets at home or jollyes or somewhere like that (assuming there is one near you) and pick up a small bag of PAH own brand or JWB until you can get the royal canin.  That's assuming they will eat other brands.  If you have a jollyes near you, they sell a good range of the royal canin ones so might have the maiine coon variety.

You can buy it online at many places if you do a search but have only seen big bags on the couple I looked at and dont know if you would get them before the shop.

Couldn't see anything small enough in local shop, would rather give her all wet food for now but she does love her dried so I feel a bit mean. I am also a bit cautious about giving her new food a couple of weeks before she has to fly to SA, I don't want her going with a funny tummy.

Could you get a small bag of Purina one or something in a local shop?

I have just run out of Xanthe's dried food. The local petshop, where I order it, promised it would be in by today but it hasn't come so now they are saying wednesday.  >:(

What do I do?
1. Feed her pouches, mince and fish until Wednesday and pick it up then (despite having had a huge row and flouncing out saying I couldn't wait  :-[)
2. Go on a major trek to get some tomorrow (at least two buses plus walks each way)

The other factor is that I only want one bag as am leaving for SA soon, so if I buy elsewhere do I have to still take the bag ordered from the local shop?
