It's always the same the first time mine see snow. I recall my poor bridge boy Tigger sitting on the step for 20 minutes before getting enough courage to go investigate. He was mesmerised - wouldn't walk across it but didn't want to come in.  :evillaugh: When he did eventually place his paw on it and realised it wasn't going to hurt him, he was off like a whippet and kept jumping up and down and rolling in it like he was play-hunting.

Maybe Charlie thinks it's a different kind of grass now and is learning to trust it again?  :shy:

He did do two paces on it this morning!  I have tried the treat trick, da bird, feathers etc but think I just have to leave him to decide when it is "safe" to resume walking on the grass.  Sensitive is putting it mildly Leanne!

Poor Charlie, these cats are sensitive souls aren't they

What about throwing a treat out on to it to try and entice him on it

Apparantly I screamed when first put on grass according to Mum (mid september birthday so a few months before weather allowed putting me on that funny tickly stuff) - I can empathise with Charlie!  :shify:

Hope he settles soon!  :)

I can't remember what it was, I threw the empty box away!  Would have expected smell to have gone with the amount of rain we have had this last week.

Try giving the lawn a good watering and hopefully the smell will go away.  :sneaky:

Ever since I cut it and put organic fertiliser on it he wont set foot there.  He will walk round the edges but wont put his pretty paws on the grass.  It does pong a bit.  Hopefully the smell will die off soon ??????
