I don't want to use it any more as it smell so bad and not fair on the cats - poor clapton stinks of it. I won't use it any more. I will try to get a refund at the vets and order Frontline

I keep my receipts  benefits to being a hoarder, id be checking through them to see if i had been ripped off

I have a stash of freebie frontline i got from merial (think thats the right company  ) they were really good and sent new whole packets when one in each one i had bought had leaked

I think I bought 6 - I can't remember exactly when. They are only for Clapton. The annoying thing is, they really pushed it for being cheaper than Frontline - except I could have got Frontline a lot cheaper online 

The annoying thing is - Although I bought Fresh recently, I still have Stronghold left from last year that is still in date.

A -  i wouldnt risk it, some chemicals change and can burn. Aspirin is one example - its turns from acetylsalicylic acid to plain old salicylic acid which is nastier.

B - how many was in the pack and how long from the date of purchase til they ran out? If its was say a 6 pack that would last you 6 months and you bought 3 months before expiry i would expect them to have said something.
Basic stock control and good manners when selling short dated stock doesnt cost anything.

I had always imagined that the active ingredients degraded over time but now you've got me thinking!

I flead Clapton yesterday. I can't give him stronghold as he is allergic so I bought some promeris about 3 months ago. I just noticed that it expired in June 

A - Is it dangerous to use after expiry?
B- Should the vet have sold me stuff so close to expiration date?

I don't plan on buying it again as it smells horrible and a dose is quite a lot of liquid so not very good.
