Miss Gracie was at the vets today and got a 6 week steroid injection and her 2 week antibiotic injection, she hasn't lost any weight in the last 4 weeks so the vet is happy to let us give her the net antibiotic injection - its in the fridge now with the insulin!

She is happy in herself and loves her A/d and all ghe extra mashed treats - tonight its kitten food as Beijing is only picking at it so rather than waste a whole sachet I mash it up for Gracie who loves it! :Luv:

Well after our visit to the vet today we now know that Miss gracie has a tumour and its in her jaw and mouth area, having said that she is happy with her Hills A/d, her cat milk and loads of treats so we are currently under vets guidance and will continue with steraoids and antibiotics which they are hopefully going to give us to do and lesen her stress

So as long as the lady is happy, eating and playing we will continue down this road and know that at some point when she can't eat that the big trip to the Bridge will happen

She hasn't lost any weight and can have anything she likes the vet said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Well at last some good news for the Clan this week after all our sorrows

Miss Gracie's lump in her mouth has reduced by over 50% and the vet thinks and hopes that it is a very nasty abcess so our girl got more steriod and the 2 week antibiotic injection and is back again in 2 weeks with another 8 of the Clan for normal injections and the dog for her boosters!

Her whiskas have started growing back and we are all pleased with her progress so here's to more Hills A/d and good news continuing in a fortnight for our wonderful ol feral gal!

She is currently on top of the wardrobe in our bedroom and doesn't love her Daddy as he scruffed her to get her in to the box this morning!

Miss Gracie is off to the vets tomorrow for another check over and we are hoping the news will be good after this weeks sadness

She is dribbling as much and a first for us a cat who likes Hills a/d food and she is drinking lots of cat milk and munched on some RC Exigent today so hopefully more drugs tomorrow will keep her with us for a bit longer

She is happy in herself and her baby Ace (our really nasty shredding feral!) is still getting time with his Mum which is a special thing to see when he gets the odd cuff round the ear for being a bolshie teenager - he is about 4 ish!

Fingers crossed it is just an abscess Liz - good luck with the Liquivite, I have never had any success with that, so use watered down a/d instead. I also find that cats with mouth issues seem to favour dry food.

it is with a heavy heart that after her vets visit today it looks like her regal tortniess Miss gracie has either a very bad abcess or a tumour in her mouth she has had steroids and a long lasting antibiotic injection today and the vet wants her bavk in 10 days to see what the effect is.

She is still bright in herself and first to the food bowls but is now getting extra soft treats, liquidised food, cat milk and I have jsut ordered some liquivite so she can have something to drink should the food hurt her to eat

She is nearly 19 and has been a Clan Cats member for nearly 3 years, a former feral lady and queen of her previous colony and our dear old lady, and the oldest member of the Clan cats

Wer have her very nasty son Ace and several Great, great. great great grand kids and all adore her and Ace guards her so we are dreading it being a tumour as whilst his Mum is around he is okay but for him to loose her may tip my nasty tux feral over the edge so we are trying to be positive but it is heart breaking on the inside so please say a few words for Miss gracie if you have time :thanks:
