Corner litter trays - any good?

did you ever get one JS, I saw one yesterday and it looked too small, they've got one on zooplus but its out of stock - intrested to know if anyone has had success, they just seem a bit small

Awww, we don't have a Jollyes.(unless, of course it's an internet store I haven't heard of!) I'm definitely thinking of getting one; possibly two dependant on if my cats decide to be litter tray snobs.

I've got two of those and two normal hooded ones, mine don't seem to notice the difference. Mine were £11.99 from Jollyes

Two of ours used the one we had and two didn't, the older cats didn't seem to take to it, it may have been more compact than some, and they seemed not to like the fact they couldn't turn round in it as easily.

I have a couple of corner hooded trays and they cats use them just the same as the conventional shape.

you mean you english don't use litter trays??! Oh, I wondered why there were no public litter trays anywhere ... have had to make do with that waterfall thingy inside small rooms ever since I got here ...

Mine is a hooded one, with a door, my only complaint is I can usually only get two of the three clips to snap on so lifting by the handle has to be done with care ....

Are the corner trays high sided?

we have 1 corner tray and its the most used... mind you it is also in the bathroom...   they are usually pretty handy or we think so anyways!

Definitely necessary to get a covered one, I think. Old Mog can make the most horrendous smells. (Having said that, she always "lets me know" she's been so the mess is only there for a few minutes usually!)

We have a covered corner tray from zooplus, neither of them mind using it at all and it fits happily in a corner of the hallway. I'd say go for it, I think mine was about £14, but a non covered one would obviously be cheaper.

smidgen uses mine happily. Esther doesn't. But then the corner one has a door on it and the other one doesn't so not sure if the door is the impediment to use, or the shape. But as I said, Smidge is perfectly happy with his (as am I, because of space issues). Also, Misty had a corner one, and she (a British Short Hair) used it happily. She was a biiiiiiiiiiig cat, so clearly there is room to manoeuvre....

On my quest to minimise the space monopolised by litter trays, I've been looking at corner trays. Are they any good? Do cats seemingly dislike them or do they use them just as much as a "normal" tray?

We currently have four trays, one is in the spare room. I'd much rather they weren't in "human sleeping areas" so need to figure out a way to get them all in the bathroom and still be able to move! Any info/advice is appreciated.
