Hey,
Im Greg a 21yr old Uni student and i've got just the one very special cat called Robinson. If you think the name's bizarre we didn't actually name him, as you'll find out as you read on.. but he had a brother called Smokey and the band you know Smokey Robinson? Yer, you get the picture. He is now at the grand old age of 14 but is far from a pensioner. To cut a long story short... he wasn't actually our cat but he always used to prefer to come round our house when I was a kid. We (as a family) had only just moved down from Scotland to Derbyshire and when we first seen him as a tiny kitten on halloween when he ventured into our garage, I didn't have many friends when I moved down at first so Robbo helped fill that gap and kept coming round more and more often (as he prefers people rather than fellow cats and he seemed to realise) over the years he began to spend most of his time at our house... and when the neighbours moved away just over 1 year ago they offered Robbo for us to adopt and obviously we said yes... as he would much prefer to stay here with us than be re-homed. The funniest thing is that my dad actually disliked cats (actually had a slight fear) and would NEVER of dreamt of keeping one... but as Robbo came round more and more often he managed to turn round my dads impression of cats and he became one of his biggest fans! He truly is loved by all that meet him
. He is extremly friendly and would approach anyone for a bit of fuss.
Now some of you may have already seen me in the Health forum as poor little Robinson has a nasty case of reccurring gingivitis, but hopefully that'll be sorted soon enough and other than that he is a perfectly fit and healthy cat (though sometimes I think he still thinks he's a kitten
)
I thought I would post in here as its rude of me not too introduce myself... and of course robbo who's quite the poser
(im not too good with the whole posting attachments and such so I hope you dont mind clicking the links )
