What a sad turn of events.  Fingers crossed something can be sorted out for these 2.

this sounds SO terrible for the families involved... it is bad enough having to deal with the loss of 1 family member, but 2 and in such circumstances!   My heart really goes out to the family and I can totally understand why you stepped in to help Ela.

Well done you for doing so Ela.  How are the poor wee babies, they must be quite disorientated??

OMG how awful for everyone.  Fingers crossed these two kitties will take comfort in each as they have both lost their slaves ... poor babies.

What a sad, sad story and how upsetting for all the family, traumatising for them I should think, not only grieving for one person at a funeral but two and then they are going to have to go through another funeral as well.  I can't even begin to imagine how they are feeling. :(

Well done Ela, for trying to help them at such an horrific time.

That is so sad and, I am sure, traumatising for everyone concerned. The gentleman must have been very close to his sister.

 :(How very sad
A cat is a free spirit who will come to you for affection, but only on her terms. The quicker a devoted owner understands this the faster harmony will resume.

Ela, such a very sad story but the way you have written it sounds as if you are trying to find space for the body; I know its not funny but you word things so wonderfully. :)

Until a couple of weeks ago a gentleman only had one but his sister died and he took on her cat, yesterday was her funeral, when the gentleman got to her house he collapsed and died. The family had to leave him dead on the floor while they went to the sisters funeral. We have no room but I am trying to sort something out. Even my new pen that I was not going to use until after my holiday has been used twice and has two in now.
