We're back from the vets.
Well its definately not ear mites or bad ears or dirty ears.
He does have 2 little cysts inside the ear but the vet isnt too concerned about them just yet,she said to keep an eye on them and if they are still a problem then something will need to be done but obviously she doesnt want to operate because of his age.
Now she thinks all this ear twitching could be a sign of hyperthyroidism. I dont quite understand how it can be but she thinks its linked to high blood pressure/hyperthyroidism which is linked to his kidneys. Shes taken bloods for us to see just whats going on,I am keeping positive though,he's not in any pain or anything and is eating/drinking/playing if he's doing all this then in my book his life is still good. I'm just not sure about stuffing him full of pills, the vet said something about a steroid base tablet but I'm really not sure as Grwndis on tablets and I have seen him change so much for being an active cat to a fat overweight lazy cat and I dont want that to happen to Ging.
Obviously I would be greatful for any purrs advice and information and will get back to you as soon as the results are back
