I have a very keen gentleman on my homing list that is intereted in taking on 2 cats with a diability etc for housecats. I suggested FIV and although he is concerned with bills, if the right one came along then i am sure they would. They are in Canterbury, Kent. They have permission from landlords etc..
Currently we dont have anything that would fit the bill. But baring in mind traveling distance does anyone have to kitties that would be ideal for this kind of home?
Here is some of the blurb he send me tonight.. I will be writing to him regarding the implications of a kitten and suggest young adult or mature puss cat best. I will also mention that FIV isnt a costly as it would seem.

My housemate has also confirmed that he would like a cat and is looking forward to helping care for one. We have considered the implications of caring for a cat with a disability. Our preference would be a deaf or physically impaired feline. Though we would love to be able to consider any cat, one with FIV may be too much for us financially if vet bills become too high, and there will be times when there would be no one in the flat during working hours so I presume this is not ideal for looking after a blind cat.. Please correct me if I'm wrong on either of these.. We would like to adopt a kitten, and if you feel it is best to adopt a pair (as mentioned on your website), we would also consider this.
I live in a top floor flat with no access to the outdoors except a 3rd floor balcony. I would not like to keep a healthy cat indoors so am looking for one that must be. The only noticable noise in the flat is the birds!! I live right next to the river so there are plenty of ducks, pigeons and gulls to be spotted from the balcony. There are no children or other pets in the flat. The flat is a very open split level, with some great high points and lots of hiding places under the stairs, desks and in cupboards. Currently I work from home most days, however this could be changing during the summer, therefore now would be a great time to look after a kitten, or kittens.
