Best Safety Collar?

Thanks for the replies, the quick release safety buckle seems to be the best option, I'm erring towards pink camouflage colour myself, as it would suit my two little girls Anna and Lucia. I thought about cat proofing my garden as well but they'd find a way around it I'm sure, and it's a quite safe area for them with a network of back gardens now established as their territory - it was previously their mother's, who lives next door, which I didn't know when I first moved here a couple of years ago, and thought she was a stray and started feeding her a little and she evenutally moved in and gave birth to a litter in my kitchen. They all promptly moved back next door once it came to light... but Anna and Lucia found their way back here a few weeks later and decided to call it home.

Here's a couple of pictures I used as Xmas cards... Don't worry about the pigeon, it didn't suffer too much.

I use Ancol saftey buckle collars, you can get them on ebay for about £1.90 they have the saftey relese buckle.

I use these because I have a cat that can get them off himself and he also gets out of my cat proofed garden (it manages to keep my other 4 cats in) so he is forever loosing them.

His name is Harry, would you believe lol

They do all different colours and designs, my cats have blue combat for the boys and pink for my girls.

Hello everyone, this is my first post, and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good, reliable safety collar for my cats. They use Anacol elasticated ones at the moment, but they're often coming back home with them wrapped under a leg now and again. This hasn't caused them any injuries but it's obviously uncomfortable for them until I can rectify it, but can also leave them left out in the cold for a while, as I have an electro-magnetic cat flap. Anyway, what I'd ideally like is a collar that never gets snagged, but if it does, doesn't cause a problem for them and either comes off easily or doesn't cause them to be injured if it does get caught under their leg, and is preferably cheap to replace, as every lost collar is a lost magnet as well. So would be grateful for any collar recommendations. Thanks.
