It was just over a week for me to get my Renies ashes back.

It really opens your eyes when you have gone through this. I hated going to the vets and seeing the crem pick up van or boxes that you know contained ashes, so sad. Where as before my cats death I didnt even associate the vets with death.

They will be coming back ina sealed box , and we have decided that they will be goimng under the apple tree , as Oscar used to like to snooze under it!

No chance of me EVER moving house , I love where I live far too much! - and if I did then I think I would have to dig them up and take them with me.

I got Tiggy's back  after just over a week, the crematorium collect on certain days and then the cremation will normally take place the same or next day.  They then have to deliver the ashes back to the vets next time they pick up, I got someone to ring the vets a few times to find out where they were hence why I know the ins and outs!

Have you thought about where you will be keeping them?  I didn't want to scatter Tiggy's as I told her we'd never be apart and I've already moved once since she died.  I have her ahses in a lovely casket surrounded by some special photos and her memory box.
