oooh how exciting for the in-laws.  Fingers crossed the "right" kitties will come up soon for them.

Waiting to hear back as to exactly what they want as the CP didn't have anything suitable.

I'm guessing they'd want indoor only cats, but I'm not 100% sure.

Right, Flamingo Land - park thing with animals etc. I had to google it (as well as Atlon Towers).

They want two cats that get along with other cats. I'm not sure age matters or colors. They adore my black & white boy Penguin who is 10. 

Just as long as they've got the potential to be a bit cuddly and don't chew on things (Lirael has damaged their tables).

Des they have no real idea, except they want a cat that will be a bit lap oriented. My 3 have spoiled them into thinking all cats think humans are a sofa.

Beverly is right next to Malton, not very far at all from Flamingo Land if you have been!  ;)

I feel like a proud aunt and they've not even spoken to a rescue yet. But they want to adopt 2 cats.

This is from them watching (and us visiting) with our three. They always whine when ever the cats aren't around that its boring and lonely. I just happend to send them the catchat link for East Yorks and they've been checking it daily!

Neither have ever had cats (dogs when they were living at home) so they've learned with ours and as a 30 + 30 birthday is coming up (mother in law would kill me if I said her exact age!) we will be covering the adoption donations and my brother in law will be giving money toward all the necessities that they don't already have (they have a litter box, litter, scoop, food bowls, food, toys and treats but I'm sure we can buy them more stuff).

I emailed the CP in Beverley East Yorkshire to see if they home to where they live. I'm rubbish with where everything is in England but this seemed sorta close, it's in the right county at least ;)
