It's funny but before I realised RC was owned by Mars, I thought the texture & colour was similar. I only have some RC sensitive pouches but Willow won't eat them. I will try some ordinary ones and see. It could well be exactly the same stuff as Perfect Fit? - I will also try the Sheba as it could be the same story, just marketing it under a different brand name.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Mark, in terms of texture and jelly etc, the Sheba pouches are the closest I've found to Perfet Fit. However, the RC wet pouches also seem to have this (the Urinary ones anyway do).

Lexy was ok with the PF Indoor pouches but they were not loved. She did like the Sheba pouches, but moo that she is, she prefers all the luxury stuff rather than the solid complete food.  :tired:

Do Mars own Royal Canin then? - otherwise, I am surprised they would recommend it. As for recommending Whiskas dry - that is a laugh  :evillaugh: -

I will try the Sheba pouches but I don't think they will be as good as perfect fit (4% compared to 14% meat?)

Hello Mark,

Thank you for contacting us regarding Perfect Fit

Unfortunately we have to confirm that Perfect Fit is no longer available in the UK . After seeing a gradual decline in sales, we carried out some market research and based on this, we made the decision to cease distribution. We do not have any immediate plans to reintroduce the range. Some outlets may still have supplies however, we are unable to advise where these may be.

The closest product nutritionally to Perfect Fit dry catfood is Royal Canin, which can be found in the Specialist Pet Trade. An alternative for supermarket customers would be Whiskas. If your cat has enjoyed Perfect Fit pouches, then we would recommend you try the new Sheba pouches.

We do continually review our range and full details of your letter has, therefore, been forwarded to our Research & Development and Marketing Teams for their consideration.

If you need any further information or advice please contact our Consumer Careline on the telephone number below and one of our Consumer Care Advisors will be more than happy to help you.

Kind regards.
