I'm sure Jameson is perfectly fine - but lately he has been more 'mumsy' than ever, he'll follow me everywhere and the last few days he has spent way more time indoors, than outdoors.
Indoors he is obviously very comfy, but also very playful (again, more than ever). Today he has been restless and seemed on edge - he wanted to play for ages, and when I put his toys down he'd continue on his own. (very amusing seeing him wrestle imaginary things behind the curtain) I put him outside for a while, and he came back after an hour, acting completely nuts! He'll run after his toys, then whack them - charge off in an incredibly speed, then stop, turn around and charge in another direction sliding across the livingroom floor. He'll also whack his toy mouse so it goes flying in the air, then run after it and continue juggling it and running at the same time - sometimes on his back legs!! It is hilarious to watch. I played with him for ages and he just got more and more excited. He'd charge off, then suddenly stop, look around, hunch down as if he is paranoid he's being followed! It is very amusing to watch him, and I think he's just being very playful today because I have seen him being this crazy and excited before. Just that now it's been going on for a while. I don't think he is bored as we play lots etc. I guess it's normal and he seems healthy. I just wondered if cats do this, and if they sometimes become more 'mumsy' than usual, and if that is a sign of anything? I know the weather has been c*ap lately, but not worse than before and that didn't stop him going out less. Maybe there is a new cat in the neighbourhood?
