guys
Yes I think thats why Doc got away so easily Gill as I didn't really want to touch the eye so I was sort of hesitating as I tried to open it and look inside etc - he is first one over for a fuss but also first one to do a runner when he catches on to what you are doing!
It wont be the same vet tonight as that was the vet we used to take him to before we moved house - the new vets seem nice enough although they said Doc and Gerti were overweight
- Gerti is definitely tubble but Doc is more stocky - he is probably more than the "average" adult male cat weight but he isn't fat I wouldn't say.
Anyway - I don't know much about these vets but when our lot went for MOT and vaccs they seemed nice enough - they sell things for local CP on reception which gave them bonus points with me!
Clare, not just bank holiday but Doc has a lovely knack for these things in the week before payday! I think both other previous non-routine vet visits with him were paid for by cheque for the same reason
(which reminds me, must find cheque book
) I think from now on I will just take him straight away anyway as I have just been worrying about him and he has probably been in some unnecessary pain, even though he is still acting bright as a button.
Last time he was just given drops (after that stuff was put in the eye to check for scrapes) so I wonder if perhaps he is just succeptable (sp?) to that sort of thing.
