Teresa, Cringle's adorable.  Would be nice if he could be reunited with his owner, but if not, I hope he gets a fab new home, 'cos he looks a right smasher!  (or should that be cracker.....?)    ;D

Lynn, cats can be stray and overweight - I picked Ginger up off the streets (literally) and he was overweight as he had people who fed him regularly, and he was quite a lazy cat. He was also incredibly friendly, and would go to anyone (my main concern with him, esp how I had got him) - some cats do seem to stay friendly to make sure they get regular food, all the ones I have picked up off the streets (admittedly not a lot) have been like that.

altho i hope he is snapped up wouldnt it be nice if his original owners turn up..big chunky white cats arent so common so yes i bet someone is worried sick about him

hubby says he looks fat LOL..in the nicest possible way i think meaning he deosnt look like a stray.

is he very friendly ??

Well despite a picture and newspaper article no one has come forward to claim this gorgeous boy yet, went to Pets at Home this afternoon and they had lovely soft well padded pink flowery dog beds on offer for £14 so I treated him as cat beds are a little small, have to keep popping downstairs to peep at him snuggled in his new bed all happy and purry, such a lovely sight and hes man enough to cope with the flowers. :)

Desley will try and get a pic of him next to Buster who looks like a dwarf besides him.

Gill he actually has 2 marks on his tail a  black circle and a perfect black triangle.

Tan- he turned up on a really busy road and sat there for 2 days, the people who found him knocked on doors and put notices up before bringing him to me, I am convinced he is someones missing pet and may have travelled in a delivery van,his paws were dirty but he is otherwise in good condition and very affectionate, he is an absolute darling. Claire was kind enough to name him for me when he arrived on Christmas Eve. Sadly no microchip or collar

Glad Cringle is settling well - that Tula seems to have 'je ne sais quoi' doesn't she?

Cringle arrived here on Christmas Eve, the only available available space was in the middle of the kitchen, trouble is Cringle is a GIANT so the enormous dog pen was set up and Cringle greeted the curious feline residents with a growl, even Buster our presidental mog took flight. The oversized turkey arrived at 20lb it looked smaller than Cringle who lay in his pen drooling, I went to bed that night expecting a great cage escape and a missing turkey.
I needn`t have worried by Christmas morning the feral kittens had broken into the kitchen to offer the paw of peace to Cringle who seems to be quite smitten with Tula the fat tabby who is also Busters girlfriend, so where was Buster ? in bed with Polly seems he must have asked Santa for a toy girl for Christmas. Perhaps I should have asked for a bigger kitchen.
