Had to take Cleo to the vets today to see Uncle Sean. I came back from Sheffield last night and all her eye was swollen and both eyes closed
She isn't the best cat to deal with in a crisis, she always reminds me of little Bob as she will rip me to shreds when trying to do anything with her
My eldest and I managed to bathe her eye but did get a couple of injuries ourselves but this morning it was even worse. I took her to the vets and Sean said he wasn't sure if she'd had a whack in it or it was a severe case of Conjunctivitus. He gave her a couple of jabs and she's got drops to go in it as well, and we both got scratched in the process
Her third eyelid was completely covering her right eye, is bright red and looks horrible. She seems a lot better since her visit although the third eyelid is really inflamed, the swelling appears to have gone down slightly. She may have to go back in in the morning, to be sedated and have it looked at if it's still really bad. I'm a little worried as she had a really bad reaction to the anaesthetic when she was spayed
She started fitting and had to be rushed to the other surgery as the vet that was on at the time was panicking like mad
She was quite poorly afterwards as well so hopefully she won't have to go in.
