Nothing wrong with that
DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

I was just going to post similar to Bertiesmum. A lot of us only do one day on the phones. Things we can't answer straight away get emailed to everyone else. It's possible it is just an oversight.

Call them Hannah - it could be as simple as your number having been mislaid or the person you originally spoke to having not passed the message on to everyone else .... ;D  Remember CP branches get very busy.  Before I adopted Bella from CP, I had registered my details, had a home visit and was still waiting 10 days later so gave them another call ... turned out they had a list of cats they wanted me to see but no one had got round to calling me  ;D

i agree with blackcat - go for it, call them.

I was down for fostering at RSPCA last November and I emailed and phoned, and emailed and phoned....................  I got Bonnie in December and the rest is history - I failed as a fosterer after 4 days and I adopted her, she is all mine now!!!  Good luck.

I would try to ring them back - Outer Aberdeen are loking for folks to

Adele some branches just don't want newcommers - I speak from a bitter experience having fostered and done trapping, taming and feeding a feral colony add in the charity matching for fostering and  sponsered events my new branch here said to many cats and got an IM to say they weren't interested shame as our old branch gets £3000 a year from us we just have to do 300 mile round trips to allow us to do what we loved!

My fault I moved in to an area with big ideas and no folks to help despite them always advertising, me I still go to all their events and feel that I have babged my head on the brick wall

We still do some trapping for folks in our rural area, get them nutered/speyed and returned as its mainly ferals only got 7 of the happy band who live in our woods to go but at the moment they aren't being helpful going in to traps but our jack Russell is enjoying the food till the trap shuts!

Hmmm, I couldn't even find their website!

It's a shame if they've not shown much interest hun, but don't give up. I hate to say it about the organisation that I work for and love, but maybe they're just not that great at recruiting people or getting back in touch.

If you're not impressed, then maybe you could approach other rescue orgnanisations? The problem we face when recruiting people is that people are very keen to do the hands on cat and kitten stuff, but not other bits like fundraising, paperwork, vets runs etc, which is usually the things that we need just to keep the branch running!

Good luck with it - hope it doesn't put you of CP - most branches are desperate for enthusiastic people to help out!!!

definitely ring back - some organisations dependent on volunteers are inclined to 'test' the enthusiasm by making you call a few times ...

aberdeen city.
have to say i've not been overall impressed with it so far.  the web site barely mentions cats, doesnt really mention rehoming, has no pics of kits....  bit weird.  and when i rang up they took like no details about me.  oh i dont know.

and the other one i was going to help out.... well i shouldnt post my thoughts on here.

so frustrating cos on every other cp web site they have loads need rehoming and heaps of them seem to be asking for fosterers.

hey - does anyones cats need a holiday?!?!?!  ;D   everyone should come stay at aunty hannahs!!!

Hey!

I'd definately ring back hun - it's beginning to be kitten season and most branches are really swamped with new arrivals and other things slip down the list of things to do!!!

Which branch was it?
