Did this lady managed to find a cat?  If not I was wondering if she may be interested in this thread http://www.chaptanservices.com/purrs/index.php?topic=1258.0

Yes, David Hurst at Croydon Cats Protection will help this lady to find a cat in need.

David is a smashing guy and is so genuine.  I am sure Croydon (who are a very active group) would not mind visiting someone in Wandsworth.

I'll try to look up his number for you in a bit.

Lots of love

I would also try Croydon CP cos they took a cat from me in Streatham to Battersea dogs home and they also rehomed one from me. Wandsworth is only just up the road.

Teresa, if the good lady lives in Wandsworth, then she must a stone's throw from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, which is also in Wandsworth! Perhaps she thinks they only rescue dogs?

I believe the RSPCA at Putney also just falls into Wandsworth...

It breaks my heart seeing how many cat's are in rescues, but then again it's better than being on the steets. :(

12 miles and they won't d a home check!  Dear god do you have to live next door to the rescue then in order to rehome!  That is so sad I do hope this lady manages to find somewhere with a slightly more realistic homecheck policy.

Had a call from a lovely lady in the Wandsworth area of London, she is not on a busy road and cats would have access to a garden.
She is desperately looking to give a home to 2 Adult cats up to 5 years of age.
She has tried the London rescues on Catchat but none are prepared to do a homecheck because she is 12 miles away.
Does anyone in the area want to home to a lovely lady, by the way she approached me because her parents live in Cheshire and they adopted from me.
This really saddens me that cats will sit in rescue unnecessarily, if anyone knows of any please let me know
