normal kitten growth?

It's ok Gill, She forgave you.  She said she would even chew on you hair and lick your nose if you took it all back and said that she is the most beautiful kitten that ever lived!

My partner's friend's auntie rescued a pregnant female. She lives on a farm in east lothian so Mia was around tons of cats and dogs and other animals, which is probably why she's so laid back and friendly 

I would imagine kittens, like kids, have growth spurts.  They don't seem to change very much then all of a sudden you think .. Wow you've grown.

I agree with Sam - definitely growth spurts.

Hiya everybody,

I have a question which might sound very silly, I don't know. I have a 4 months old kitten ( ). We had her when she was 2 months old, and between 2 and 3 months, she pretty much doubled in size. But she now looks exactly the same as a month ago.

I noticed it because I spent about 3 weeks in France with my family, leaving the cat with my partner, and I expected her to have got much bigger when i got back, but she was exactly the same! She eats and does everything normally.

I started to worry because the vet told me he would spay from 5 months old if she was close enough to her adult size, and thinking about that made me realize how tiny she was. But then again i don't know how big a 4 months old kitten is supposed to be!

I took her to the vet for her vaccine when she was 12weeks old, and he found her very healthy and energetic. She weighed about 1.5 kilos.

Am I just being silly? Can it be normal for a kitten to double in size in a few weeks and then stop growing for a bit? Am I rambling too much? (probably, lol)
