thanks guys, we really are proud of them and I thought the vids would let you see better how they are doing.

YOu may have noticed too that I tried to get mum to be a little lively by throwing her ball... which she just looked at and looked at me as if to say 'Yeah!  right! '

It still makes me smile to watch little Opals.  Bit like when I walk down our hall and pass the door and all you can hear is jingle jingle with her toys.  Always brings a smile to my face and a wee lump to the throat.

They are both adoreable and I'm really pleased they are recovering and looking so well   It brings a tear to your eye watching them knowing everything that they've been through and with what happened to Opal's litter mates.  Fingers crossed they are over the worst now and they both find a loving home, and well done

Opal is just gorgeous and doing everything a kitten should.  ;D

Mummy Gill is so small, doesnt look much bigger than the kitten but I love b&Ws and am sure that once she is fully over all the traumas she will put on loads of weight and be a real cuddlepuss  ;D

 ;D

Hi Everyone,  :hi:

Gill here mummy to little Opal.  I thought I'd pop on the PC while my meowmy isn't around and let you know how we are doing.

I am feeling much better and more like myself which is good and I think meowmy is relieved too as she and Daddy have been very worried about us.  It has been a terrible time and sadly I lost all my babies except for opal and also lost my Sister.   :'(It has been a very hard time for everyone but thanks to all the time and effort our new meowmy and Daddy have given us they have pulled us through this difficult time.  We are so lucky to have had people who care to look after us when we weren't well.

Both Opal and I would like to thank every one of our new friends on Purrs for all the kind wishes and support you have given us over the past few weeks when we have all been so critically ill.    :Luv2:   It has been very surprising for us as we have never had such love and care before and we just wanted you all to know how much we appreciate it and the difference it has made.  I know that Meowmy has said that she was so glad there were people who understand what it is like to go through this ordeal.

I have to admit though that this 'being ill' hasn't been all bad as we have had a steady supply of cuddles and affection and been given all kinds of wonderful things to eat such as chicken, tuna and special foods that meowmy and Daddy have been out searching for to give us.   We have them wrapped round our little paws that is for sure and will serve up a special dinner every day.  (Although that may have something to do with us turning our nose up at mere canned cat food!   :P   :evillaugh:)

We know we are very lucky to be where we are and just wanted to let you all know how much your support has meant to us all here.  So, we asked meowmy to take  couple of little videos of us so you could see just how well we are doing at the moment, which we hope you will enjoy.

Here is a short video from me

Here is one from baby Opal

sending lots of bumps, purrs and sniffs to all our friends and furbabes on Purrs.
