Soxey loves the catnip tea from Whittards the tea bags are semi mouse shapped and when they dry out are a great toy (which Soxey can play with for hours) and they are very strong, would def recommend

Try the catnip teabags from Whittards (the tea and coffee supplies shop)....  Just the bags rather than making tea with them.  Makes our two go absolutely nuts :)

Me won some too in the last years Auction. They are meant to have a calming effect on us humans if drank as tea.

I just gave my lads the bags and they loved them!!  ;D Not a calming effect though!!!

I usually grow fresh catnip in my herb patch or buy in a pot in the summer because cats tend to lay on it and squash it down.  I've munched the leaves too but they are an acquired taste - supposed to be good for digestion.
Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

I won some last year - I haven't bothered making tea out of them, but they go down well even without making tea from them first. Humans can also drink catnip tea - can't remember what effect it has on us though.
Please spay your cat

One of our friends has bought Blip a packet of catnip teabags! I thought this was just a novel way of packaging catnip, but no - apparently you make a tisane with the teabags, let it cool and then give it to your cat to drink!?

I haven't heard of this before and wondered if anyone else had used them? I'm very much inclined to throw away the brew and just let Blip have the dried up tea bag to play with, I think...
