Leo is getting naughtier & naughtier !

  OMG!! I think we have twins. Everything you wrote could have been describing Memphis. He does everything you mentioned that Leo does. I've found tweasers on the top of the stairs, nail clippers in his bed repeatedly, Molly's canny collar, watches half way through the door, hair bands in his bed ... The only added part I have is Memphis loves to play with the dog. He refuses to leave her alone and its getting rather annoying. She can just be stood still and he charges up and wraps his front legs around her neck and hangs on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If she's asleep he cant resist jumping on her, biting her face, chewing her feet dive bombing her belly, chasing her tail ...... No matter how many times you tell him off, how many times Molly walks away or gets grumbly, how many times he gets set to time out, he will still do it 

His other big naughty thing is he can open the cupboard to steal his Da Bird  . The way he opens it is hilarious and deserves a place on you've been framed (need to get it on video).
Ahh these cats can be naughty but we still love them silly.

Me thinks that is one of those things we must cope with as a slave, cats can be typically hardheaded and doing all sorts of things repeatedly, knowing perfectly well that they are not supposed to do them, as if to dare you.  Oliver does that, too, going into the bathtub right after using his litterbox, jumping on the billiard table, scaling and jumping on the rack to hang dry washed clothes (it is quite bent and deformed by now... ), or playing with/chewing on the clothes that are being dried (oh how I miss tumble driers!! ) to name a few, and my command just falls on deaf ears.   When Cris is home, he does listen to him, or rather even before the man does or say anything, Ollie will bolt and hide right away at the sight of him.  Well I guess we do spoil our babies a bit too much but... heaven help us what choice do we have???

He sounds a lot like Max with his naughtiness, he will walk around the room knocking CDs off the rack, books off the bookcase, DVDs on the floor, pens/nailfiles off the table, you name it (and all within about 5 minutes of me getting home  )

We got Smoke pretty much to help keep Lirael (our energetic burmese) out of trouble.

It sort of worked, she now has someone to play with but is still very naughty.

I’m not sure my husband could cope with 2, personally I’d have about 8.. but I’m not exactly sane.


And we have a sock stealer in our house, I think it's two of them doing it but Smoke has a thing for clothes in general..

Yeah thats why I wanted another .. I work full time too.. although everytime I get in 9 times out of 10 Leo has emerged yawning from his bed !

He hides lots of stuff.. ive lost about 3 pairs of nail clippers as he is fascinated by any thing silver & shiny.. I find all sorts in my wicker basket where my underwear lives in my wardobe.. if he has got something he shouldnt have & I approach him to get it from him he will turn his little head, see im coming & run off as fast as he can.. he is a butter to catch !!

  having two may mean double the trouble. My two use our house like a race track, usually started by Lawrence who also makes lots of loud noises! He also has a thing for socks and will often take them into the conservatory and hides them Having two though also means they look after each other, sleep in the same bed and clean each other very cute. It also means I don't feel guilty when I go out to work all day.

I don't mind he isnt naughty all the time & it keeps me on my toes thats for sure.. !

The little mite has just found out he can get onto the window sils ! . .


I was on the phone for about 2 hours last night & Leo was racing around trying to get my attention... (Like a complete nutter!) up & back down his cat tree.. race into the bathroom & into the bath.. in the bedroom on the bed, race off the bed back into living room & back up his tree..  (shouting as LOUD as he can in the process !)


Anyway he jumped onto the window sill & started batting everything off including my roses in a vase ! I got there just in time & got him down.. he got up again as soon as his feet hit the floor.. & all in all this happened about 4 times.. got him down the 4th time & he ran around again jumped onto the sofa & while I was re-arranging the window sill he launched from the sofa onto my back & just clung there with his paws.. the state of my back now ! I am firm with him when I need to be but he just doesnt listen EVER !

Just had to add to this.. if he is sitting anywhere thats not the floor ie the sofa, the tiled ledge in the bathroom & there is absolutely anything to push onto the floor he will..! Last week he pushed my sisters partners phone off the sofa &  into his squash.. the phone is now ruined.. !!

Do you think I have spoilt him too much ?
