Sabby's learned to fetch!!

Reynard is the only cat i have had who played fetch. He would also bring me special pebbles and sticks that he found outside to let me know he had not forgotten me on his rambles ...

I love cats playing fetch! Poppy doesn't get it at all, just looks at me when I throw something, but Monkey loves it! Sometimes he plays just for fun, but most of the time he comes with a toy in his mouth, ready for play... when he wants to interrupt me doing something, especially if OH is there. (Ever the attention seeker.) Still, he looks so cute that I always drop whatever I'm doing to play with him instead. Well, anything to stop the howling.

Helen, I do the same thing - throw a toy away from front door when going out. I always make sure it's a toy Monkey can't carry in his mouth, though (ping-pong balls, normally!).

When the boys were little I used to throw a toy away from the front door just as I left the house so they didn't try to get out but Riley took to racing back to the front door with it - backfired!

Well well well!! We've just had half an hour of mayhem, with Sabby bringing the ball back to me when I throw it - clever boy!     Then he and Meesh were playing footie together in the kitchen, and then we had a bit of free for all ... I was throwing for Meesh and Sabby to fetch, whilst Shanti was ambushing them as they went!    Oh aren't cats great?
