Update on these babes.
They are now named Sophie and Smokie and I finally took them to their new home last night. Sophie, the dilute turned into a terror within minutes of getting there. She seems to have it in her head that now there are just 2 of them, she is going to be top cat and is trying to be the dominant one. She attacked their son last night and also went up the chimney. I had to laugh at this, when they finally got her down, she covered the suite and the carpet with soot and then went into the kitchen and covered everything in there
What a little madam!! I've spoke to Debbie today and I think in view of the way Sophie's been acting and the fact she attacked their son, I'm going over later to do a swap. It's hard to tell how they are going to react in a new home, I can only go off what she's like here and she's been an angel apart from raiding the fridge of a full chicken the other night
She hasn't tried to be dominant either or attacked my kids but my kids are older. I think ideally she needs to be homed on her own and definitely with older children, I think younger one's bring the naughty tortie side out in her. I am pretty surprised but there was a definite change in her last night, she even bunny kicked me when she was playing and jumped at me to grab my arm, this is something she's never done and I don't mind tbh, but maybe she's a little too rough to be around kids
