Our cats are all boys. Let me introduce them.
First up is Finn, also known as "The Pie" (I have no real idea why now!)
Finn is 7.5 years old and the only one of our boys that goes out. He came to us as a stray tom cat in early 2002, who needed a broken & infected toe amputated and neutering. He ended up getting cat flu pretty bad and needed a few weeks of treatment, in which time I fell in love with him and decided to bring him home - my first pet of my own after getting my own flat. I tried at first to make him a housecat but sometimes you just can't take the tom out of the cat and he just is not happy confined. Thankfully we moved house within a year of adopting him so he could enjoy our garden, though we don't let him out at night or unless one of us is home. He is quite grumpy and often lays down the law with our other pets, enjoying his place firmly as Boss in the family. He loves my hubby and sleeps most of the night on him.
Next is Riley O'Smiley
Riley is 5 years old and was abandoned at my work after his former owners did not want to pay their bill! He is a little monkey at times and full of character. He always has something to say and loves his food. He likes to groom beards and heads, and his best friend is my oldest dog.
Then there's the twins, Mackenzie & Theo, aka "The Mook" & "The Took"
Mackenzie is tabby longhaired, and Theo is buff shorthaired.
They were dumped on a construction site in a cardboard box at approx 4 weeks of age, and we brought them home to rear. They are now 4 years old. They are both very large and handsome boys with very different personalities. Mackenzie is sweet, laid back & affectionate whereas Theo is more hyper, active and playful. They both get on fantastic with my dogs and constantly amuse us with their funny ways. Theo suffers from idiopathic cystitis and is on Cystaid for life which is doing very well for him.
