Cheese,

I dunno about catt-thingys. But I does knows that my snugglepad bestestest in the world.  No clooneys for a while, well cept daddy but he don't count  :naughty: since mum called him my baybiesitta.  If that meanings I gets to seepy on mummys pillow when she not there, then its a goodie thing.

;)  Paddy can picks you up on the way Cheese! But in cased yous gets stucked in the catt-thingys before yous can escaped, then I figures you has to drool loads on your mummys pillow for when she gets home and she can snuggles deep in there to gets you smell all overs her.

 :naughty:

Cheese says:
"Lexy, wots catt-urry? I thought you might know as you are the smartest cat I know  :ok:
I think I would much rather come and stay with you instead an try this snuggly pad thingy - Gerti is always in our warm beddy thing  :shify:
I reckon us and Paddy should come an we can have a catnip party :birth 2: an protect your meowmy from any Clooneys. I am a really good watch-cat. Sometimes I sit on the end of the bed at night and watch the hoomans so nothing happens to them  :boxer: "

I think it will be the silent treatment from Cheese, but Gerti and Doc wont be able to help themselves :ahh:

Okay I was thinking of bringing (but was worried it was too much!)
- Their Small cheese-shaped scratch post as they use it alot
- The fabricy bit off Gerti's radiator bed (I say Gerti's cause she hogs it  ;D )
- Their "catnip triangle" stuffed toy things
Maybe their IKEA tent too as thats getting alot of usage recently - I wonder if thats all too much (although not as bad as Susanne  )

Its my last night with the babies, I am going to miss them so much! I will have a night here without them tomorrow and the place is going to feel so empty  :( (I will be able to roll over in bed for once but it wont be the same!) I think I will have to take lots of photos etc with me so I can talk about them to anyone who will listen while we are away!!

To think I might not see those eyes, makes it so hard not to cry, and as we say our long goodbyes, I nearly do.

I'm sure they'll be fine hun and all the more happy to see you when you get back. They're pretty resilient creatures these little ones. Just be prepared for overkill love when you get back, or ignoring you and Phil for a few days  ;)

They'll probably have a ball!  But I know how you feel cos I hate leaving my boys at the cattery, even though I know they'll be fine.  I always sleep in an old t shirt for a couple of nights beforehand then take that along for them so that they have something that smells of me.  Other than that - well, I'm not the best person to ask as I take everything but the kitchen sink!  I even took their own litter tray once.  I take their smaller scratching post, lots of beds and blankets, lots of small toys and a couple of paper bags or cardboard boxes for them to play with.  I try to make it home from home for them  ;D (and often end up bringing stuff back with me 'cos I've taken too much and it won't all fit in).

Aw Dawn I know how you feel - I hate putting Riley into a cattery (he's only been 3 times), even though the one we use is really good. Though I know he will be fine, I still feel terrible, and miss him so much, even if only for a few days. It sounds as if the one you are using is great, and they will be absolutely fine  Of course, knowing that won't stop you missing them!
I always give Riley his blankie, his donut-catball thingy (can't remember what you call them), a few pingpong balls, a couple of filled treat-balls, his monkey-teddy, and a lure toy.
Don't worry about them - it sounds like they will be as much on holiday as you! ;)

Awww Dawn, they will be fine I promise   I've known Sue over 20 years, she is lovely and I can guarantee they will get lots of treats and attention........sometimes I wish I could book myself in there for a week of pampering   You enjoy you're holiday and the time will fly before you'll be picking them up again, xxxxxx

Cattery blues

Our three are going to a cattery for the first time tomorrow night - I know I will be really sad and afraid they might think we don't want them anymore and are giving them away  :'(

I have taken time off work tomorrow afternoon so I can have time to go home and fuss them before we have to take them down there.

On the nice side of things, the lady who runs the cattery seems really lovely  :Luv2: I rang her today to ask what to bring with us etc and she said she will give them a pen nearest to their house because they are young cats and will want fuss and play more than some older cats who prefer to sleep on the heated beds etc. She has also told me to write a bit about what our cats are like (sounds silly but I even felt a bit sad doing that as its as if I am writing them an "adopt me" blurb the way I have written it!)

I have been told they will have chicken or tuna every day - so I wonder if they will miss us  :evillaugh:
Any tips on things to bring for them? I am going to bring their vaccs certs, a few of their toys, a blanket that smells like home, etc.

I will really miss them  :'( its as if they know they are going too, because they have been extra lovable and following us around everywhere (and sleeping between/on/under us even more than usual.
