sorry i havent been answering but ive not been very well so took some time away from things.
speeking with my sister about sebastian and she said if anything he is more content since becoming an indoor cat, he putting on weight, hes never whined/cried to get out, he sits looking out of the window less than tiger does and shes never been an outdoor cat as i got her as a kitten, the closest seb seems to get to wanting out is when i let lela our dog out, he will sit by the back door and wait for her to come back in, but he wont try and go out with her so i think he does that as he has become good mates with her, he will sleep in what ever room she is resting, he even tries to play with her.
as for the litter tray in my room, i have it there as toffee spends most of his time in my room, with him being blind he gets scared when he hears some one coming near, so i put that in there as the last thing i want his for him to mess in my room because he is too scared to leave one time that tiger and seb are playing on the landing, that and it means i can make sure lela wont eat the poop b4 i get chance to remove it. i have one in the spare bedroom as thats where the queens spend most of there time when they wish to be left alone and get away from stuff going on in the house and i have a stair gate there to stop lela getting in the room at the tray but it means toffee cant get in there, and i now have one down stairs in the kitchen which i have just introduced. at the time seb peed i only had the two trays as the queens always shared one without a problem, and my sister passed me one i gave her when she first got toffee, seb and toffee shared that one for over a month, i do the trays every other day, so i can only guess that seb just suddenly decided that toffee's bum stinks too much to share anymore. weve not had any problems since adding a third tray, but i will be adding a 4th, no idea where i will put it though as i realy dont fancy a litter tray in my front room even if it is hooded.
ive added a pick just to show you how content seb is.

Hello queen_goth,

I understand you must be quite upset by this. But believe me, it will be better and it just takes a bit of time.

The first thing I would still suggest is to take him to the vet to have a check up.

Also, I am wondering if it is possible to put the litter box somewhere else, not in your bedroom?

And how many litter box do you have? It is said to have one litter box for one cat if possible.

If physically he is fine, then you can start working on the behavioural and stress side of problems. There are many experts here who will advise you. It may not happen immediately as it took me 4 weeks for my cat Baxter not to spray in the house.

I am thinking it may be that he was an outdoor cat but for the past month, he has been indoor. How does he react when you started to keep him indoor? Did he cry much and did he look out of the window much?

It is also possible that you may need to litter train him again. Feliway helped my cat a lot but it did take about 2 weeks to stimulate and to work.

You need to get him checked out medically and then look at stress. If he has gone from being an outdoor to indoor he may not be enjoying things anymore.

sorry i realise i was just a bit vague about the cat, it was one of the fixed toms, hes just over a yr old, he used to be an indoor outdoor cat with the other tom, both came from my sister (catz on here) but i have them as indoor cats with my two queens, my sister has no idea if he would have done it before as he spent a lot of time out of her house as some one used to take him into there house until they felt like letting him go. i use the wood based litter, i clean out every other day really, like today I'm doing the litter and there he is inside the hooded tray doing his jobs like nothing had happened, when i saw him doing what he shouldn't he was squatting, almost like he was sitting there minding his own but not quite sitting all the way down on his bottom. it was on my hubby's side of the bed like every other time in which I'm not quite sure if it was him or my fussy queen now even though she has never done it on the bed b4, only ever on hubby's jeans. it seems my little tiger is the only sane one of the bunch, even the dogs gone mad since my rottie died Nov 5th

Hi It's quite late now so there aren't many members around. I am not an expert but my cat Baxter sprayed quite a lot inside the house in summer. I took him to the vet to check if he had any physical problems and it turned out to be okay. Then it came down to behavioural problem. I noticed that he also had scratches from neighbour's cat. (I only let him out a couple of hours during daytime) I have used Feliway and a month later, he stop spraying.

The thing I would advise you to do first is to take him to the vet to eliminate physical symptoms. Was she standing or sitting when she pee?... Mine was standing so it was more a territory marking.

If no physical symptom is observed, then there are a few things you can try.

1) Some cats are very fussy and the litter needs to be changed very often. I used World's Best Cat litter and I only needed to change everything once a week. But Baxter wouldn't use it. I then used other stuff that I can change every 2 days. Make sure you don't clean the litter box with some cleaning products like washing liquids or powders. Also, try to scoop stuff out right after she uses the litter box.

2) Does she go out or is she an indoor cat? Is there any stress she might have experienced recently? like cat flights or loud noise etc.

3)  There is a good article http://www.wizz-catz.co.uk/soiling.html and you may find it useful.

Again, I am not an expert and there are much more experienced members who will certainly reply to your post tomorrow.

(I haven't been well for the past few months so I've only checked in here for a couple of times...)

dont know if im posting in the right place but im kind of in shock at the moment, in the past week i have had a cat poop on my bed twice, pee on a pair of my husbands jeans laid on the floor and then pee on my bed on a pair of his jeans set out on the bed, i figured it was my old girl just being difficult as she refuses to use a litter tray any other cat has been in, but i just caught one of the cats i got from my sisters peeing on my bed, ive had him almost a month and he has never done anything like this inless this past week has been him but still around a month with nothing and now i actualy catch him peeing........ on my bed ffs, it cant be a litter tray thing as ive seen him use the one in my bedroom down by the botton of the bed quite often, the duvet cover from the last accident is currently on my landing awaiting the wash, so why on my ned why now and why even though i have cleaned my bed put fresh sheets on and i sprayed the darn thing with febreeze when i got up because i thought it may have been from my husbands natural smell.
plz i hope some one can help
