Giving the tablet before a meal does the same thing   ;D

When squirting water do so slowly so you dont choke them.

If you want to use Spot ons, you can actually use Stronghold and Droncit, but you need a couple of days inbetween. That way, you are also treating for fleas at the same time. I have to say I do keep forgetting water after tableting cats.

It is, especially with drugs like antirobe as its an irritant.
Much like us swallowing ibuprofen dry, you'd end up getting an ulcer.
Its also why not all drugs should be crushed in food, coatings stop irritation, slow release or need to be absorbed near the end of digestion.

Ill just do down the hatch method with tiggy and she will have to hate me for a few hours and then get lots of treats to make up for it  :rofl:

The only one that does both worms is profender, available from the vet and pricey from what iv heard!

Do you know if the spot ons are any good? If so what ones? but then again i can never find bare skin for the frontline  :rofl:

fraid I always opt for the 'straight down the hatch' technique, although i use Milbemax rather than Drontal, as I really struggle with Drontal. You can get spot on treatments, so I might go down that route in future.

It was time for them to be wormed today,

I cut a drontal worming tablet in half and wrapped both bits in ham pipin just ate hers and didnt even realise there was a tablet in there  :rofl:

Tiggy was a different matter though firstly she ate the ham and left the tablet tried again and she done the same thing so then i hid it in a blob of dairylea and she licked all that of the tablet then i squashed some normal cheese round it and she chewed the cheese and left the tablet cheeky lil sod  :rofl:

In the end i had to hold her whilst terry forced it in her mouth   :(

Anyone got any suggestions for next time?
